Use reports and the audit trail

Answer stock questions with filtered reports, exports, and movement history.

Start with a question

Define the site, period, item set, and quantity measure before opening a report. Use stock views for current state and movement or audit views for what changed.

Filter before exporting

Apply server-side filters and confirm the result count. Keep units separate and include identifiers needed to reconcile the export later. Use an explicit time zone and date range for period reports.

Investigate a difference

Open the item's movement history and follow receipts, moves, picks, counts, and adjustments in time order. Use actor, reason, source, destination, and correlation details to explain the change.

Preserve evidence

Export only the required scope and store it according to your retention and access policy. An export is a snapshot; Itemra remains the source for the live state and connected audit trail.
