Track tools and assets

Register serialized units, control assignments, and retain checkout and maintenance history.

Register each physical unit

Mark the catalog item for serial tracking, then create one tool or asset unit for each physical serial number. Record condition, placement, acquisition, and warranty details that help identify and manage the unit.

Check out and return

Check a unit out to a permitted person, vehicle, team, or project, with a due date and condition note when needed. On return, record its condition and any damage. Use the assignment views to see who has each unit and which returns are overdue.

Schedule care

Add calibration, maintenance, or inspection schedules for units that require them. Record completed work with its date, result, notes, and certificate reference when applicable. A failed result can place the unit in quarantine for follow-up.

Preserve the history

Use the unit detail and checkout history instead of overwriting past assignments. Search or scan the serial number before a handoff, and resolve overdue, damaged, or quarantined units before issuing them again.
