Audit retention configuration, tenant data export, and the erasure request process.

Audit retention

Settings → Audit retention (Business plans) sets how long the audit log is kept. Configure it from your compliance requirement — retention runs on schedule, and what falls outside the window is gone by design, so export first if an archive must outlive the window.

Getting your data out

Your data is yours at every level: report and list exports for slices, full-dataset export jobs for backups and audits, and the public API for continuous extraction. A periodic full export into your own archive is cheap insurance regardless of any platform guarantee.

Erasure

When an organization must be erased — offboarding, GDPR — an erasure request starts a deliberate process: it is requested explicitly, has a cancellation window, then executes as a verified deletion covering operational data, onboarding state, and stored files. Erasure is the one process designed to make history unrecoverable — export anything you'll ever need before requesting it, and expect a confirmation step proportionate to that finality.
