Discussion threads on records, @mentions, and watching objects for changes.

Discussion where the work is

Items, projects, and other records carry a Discussion tab: threaded comments that live on the thing being discussed, so decisions stay next to the record they concern instead of scattering across chat.

Comments can be edited and deleted by their author; edits are versioned, so a thread can't be quietly rewritten under someone's reply.

@Mentions

Type @ to mention a teammate — the autocomplete searches your organization's members. A mention sends the person a notification linking straight into the thread. Use mentions for questions that need a specific person; use plain comments for context the next reader should find.

Watching

Watch any discussable record to get notified about new comments and relevant activity on it without being mentioned each time — you watch automatically when you comment, and can unwatch just as easily. The watching-related notification kinds (mentioned, comment added, object changed) each have their own delivery preference.
