Notifications

The bell, the notification center, per-kind delivery preferences, quiet hours, and e-mail unsubscribe.

Where notifications arrive

Everything Itemra wants your attention for — triggered alerts, approval requests and decisions, @mentions and watched-object activity, completed exports and reports — arrives as a notification. The topbar bell shows the unread count and a quick panel; the notification center (View all notifications) keeps the full history, filterable by kind and severity, with mark-read and mark-all-read. Each notification links straight to its subject.

Delivery preferences

Settings → Notifications is your personal delivery matrix: per kind, toggle in-app and e-mail delivery independently. The defaults deliver everything in-app; e-mail is opt-in per kind — typical setups keep operational noise in-app and route only decisions (approvals, failures) to e-mail.

In-app and e-mail, per kind — plus quiet hours.

Quiet hours hold e-mail during the hours you set, and the e-mail locale chooses which language your notification mail arrives in — independent of your console language.

E-mail unsubscribe

Every notification e-mail carries an unsubscribe link that works without signing in — it disables that e-mail kind for you and nothing else. In-app delivery and other kinds are untouched, and you can re-enable the kind anytime in preferences.

If a notification never arrived

Three switches sit in series: an alert rule for the kind must exist and be enabled, you must be in its recipients (or hold the role that is), and your preference for the kind must have the channel on. Check them in that order.
