AI-surfaced anomalies — consumption spikes, silent drops, project risk, supplier drift — and the dashboard widgets.
What insights are
Insights (Admin group) watches the data for patterns worth a human look and surfaces them as cards:

| Consumption spike | Usage suddenly far above the item's normal |
| Silent drop | Stock shrinking without matching recorded usage |
| Project risk | A project trending toward material shortage |
| Supplier drift | A supplier's price or delivery behavior changing |
| Dead candidate | An item drifting toward dead stock |
| Threshold suggestion | A reorder point that no longer matches demand |
Each card shows its evidence and suggested next step — open the item, start a count, adjust a rule. Insights are prompts for judgment, not automatic actions.
Acknowledge, dismiss, teach
Acknowledge marks an insight as being handled; dismiss clears ones that don't apply. The feedback you give ("useful" / "not useful") tunes what gets surfaced later — dismissing noise is not just cleanup, it's training. (Insights are a plan capability under AI features.)
Dashboard widgets
The dashboard carries the operational counterpart: widgets for low stock, recent movements, count tasks, transfers in transit, calibration due, currency values, and your vehicle. Edit layout arranges them per person; each widget deep-links into its full view.
