Site reorder rules, reorder suggestions, auto-replenishment with guardrails, and location replenishment tasks.

Reorder rules

Reorder logic lives in site reorder rules (Settings → Reorder rules): per item and site — optionally narrowed to a location — a rule sets the minimum, the reorder point, the reorder quantity, a maximum, and a preferred supplier. Rules can be copied between sites when a new site mirrors an existing one.

Set the reorder point from normal demand during the supplier's lead time plus your safety margin, in the item's stock unit. Rules are also the threshold source for low-stock alerts and the dashboard's replenishment figures.

Reorder suggestions

Purchasing (Flows group) turns rules into a worklist: every item at or below its reorder point, with usage in the recent window, current availability, and the suggested order quantity. From here, draft a purchase order per supplier in one action, or dismiss suggestions that judgment overrules.

Auto-replenishment

Settings → Automations → Auto-replenishment runs the same logic on a schedule (hourly, daily, or on stock events) with explicit guardrails:

• Mode — only create suggestions, draft POs, or send them automatically to trusted suppliers.
• Caps — max value per PO, max quantity per item, and a daily total cap, so automation can never run away.
• Trusted suppliers — auto-send is limited to the list you name.

A preview runs the current configuration against a site without committing anything — use it after every change to the rules.

Location replenishment tasks

For in-site replenishment (bins fed from bulk storage, vans topped up from the shelf), replenishment generates location tasks — walkable pick-up and top-up jobs rather than purchase orders. They show up alongside reorder suggestions and complete like any floor task.
